1979年生まれ。日本写真学院で写真を学ぶ。
吉村 和敏氏の写真集『MAGIC HOUR』に魅了し写真を始める。
撮影対象は町の中の何でもない風景。
テーマは「そこに感じる匂い」
作品を創ることよりも目の前の風景を撮ることと集めることが好き。
Born in 1979. Studied photography at Japan Center Of Photography(JCOP).
Inspired to start photography after being captivated by Kazutoshi Yoshimura’s photo book MAGIC HOUR.
I photograph ordinary, unremarkable scenes in the city.
My theme is "the scent I sense in the moment."
I prefer taking photos and collecting the scenery in front of me rather than creating works.
写真は撮り集めることが楽しい。
それは図鑑のようであったり百科事典のようであったり。
それは図書館のようであったりおもちゃ屋のようであったり。
同じテーマが一堂に揃う場には圧倒的な魅力がある。
そのためポートフォリオではなくコレクションと称することにする。
Taking and collecting photographs is enjoyable.
It can be like a pictorial book or an encyclopedia.
It can be like a library or a toy store.
There is an overwhelming charm in a place where items of the same theme are gathered together.
Therefore, I will refer to it as a "collection" instead of a "portfolio."
